The Safe For Work version is behind this link[archived].
The main one in the link has quite a lot of swearing (but only by one individual).
Dragondreams sez:
I am NEVER doing one of these again! ๐
I'm serious. This one didn't go at all in the direction I imagined. It's ended up as more of a sketch show with musical interludes, but still huge fun. My feeling is that something like this needed to be quite tightly scripted, and this wasn't. ๐
Dramatis Personae in alphabetical order:
Special guest, Paddy O'Possum (very distant relative of @possum[archived]) on bodhran
I really want to thank all of you who took part. ๐
Oh... and sweary Amanda is still out there in the grounds of the Castle somewhere. I now have golems sweeping the undergrowth as well as the werewolves trying to find her scent. The dead giraffe at the bottom of the drive keeps distracting them though.
And we don't know when Lord Sapient ended up...

Next year I will try to get out to the castle personally. It was so much fun to listen to!
Yay!!! I saved this as my end of FAWM treat! So good!! Itโs always so good!!!
Excellent. Fantastic work stiching. Maybe rather than tightly scripting you could define things that happen (arrive at party, cocktails are mixed) and people improvise on that theme. However you somehow, (and the mind boggles how) pulled it into a coherent whole.
This is irreverent, quirky, delightful, and fabulous! Thank you all for the fun and merriment!
Well, this was fun to party along with! Volume levels meant staying on the control, though.
Oh my god I'm finally listening to the rest of it, you called back the "3 orange whips and a lime rickey" from the first party!! Oh this just gets better and better.
@headfirstonly : Thanks for handling the door and: yes I prefer [ษs] [piห] [eษชtส] over sssffff ๐ All: this is brilliant and corresponds to my mental image of FAWMstock
This is incredible ๐ Love it!! Well done to everyone, especially DD for putting it all together. So much fun ๐
Words can not express the sheer delight this whole production has created in me. I had to shower after listening.
I am impressed. I am sad (as this epic musical will never happen again and I wasn't able to be a part of FAWM history). I cannot believe this got off my radar. Incredible production and so many FAWM faves included. Very cool, people. I tip my hat to you, @castledragondreams. Amazing.
This is fantastic. I'm a first time FAWMer but this makes me appreciate so much the community here. What a great experience I've had. Here's to all of those who been a part of this for years. Very much appreciate what goes on here and this house party is a perfect little tribute.
A well earned break, take a bow Paul , what a production a great effort by all, fantastic.
so cool. what a great party atmosphere you have created here. such a huge "well done" for making it happen and pulling it all together. there should be a new icon for next to your name! the phone call saga is inspired, and i loved amanda's performance. plenty of momentum in the unfolding of the story to carry the length of the sketch. a lovely showcase and top job on mixing it all - woo woo!
"pigs in blankets" Excellent. "if somebody yelled at a tangerine" Bwaahahahahaha I want @wobbiewobbit to narrate my life. Ooh, that harmonica at 11-ish. That is the most applause an otamatone has ever received and ever will receive. ...or was the applause for it stopping??? Mmmhmmm, mandolin. Ah, to be the Bob Ross of, well, anything...A man can dream. I am worried about this dead giraffe situation, though. Crud, I forgot to submit something for the closing. Well done, all! @dragondreams, you did an amazing job!
Overjoyed to be a part of this mad adventure!
Genius the musical joke. Lol. So great so great
This was a trip! It's my first real FAWM and even I recognized a number of the names (it was hard to keep track of without a playlist though!). This was insane in absolutely the best way, and it's a masterpiece for your to put together. Now that I'm hook on FAWM, I hope you reneg on your promise not to do it again next year.
Iโm thoroughly enjoying this and still donโt know what started it. Really wonderful inventive great hearing everyoneโs voices just grooving along to the first song driving great sounds great bass. Really feel like Iโm at this party. Great uses voice abdd solos

My regret is I learned how to play this tune and didn't get it in the party...my bad. Great job by everybody and especially @dragondreams This is another classic
I am amazed, excited, beguiled, and most importantly, entertained ๐ This does indeed sound like a TREMENDOUS amount of work to orchestrate. I love the attention to detail, and the way the conversations are cut together so naturally. One of my favorite parts was the change in mood that happens at 15:11 with the bagpipes and banjo; that part is killer, the way it starts out like a dirge or funeral march, and then the bed track comes back in. That was wild! @headfirstonly's breakout session at 26:00 was a perfectly-timed infusion of energy and change of pace later in the song, just when I felt like I needed it. The cowbell duet, the crunchy guitars, and the harmonious singing finale - woven together very well!
Brilliant as always! @dragondreams, as MC, you did an amazing job - & kudos to @headfirstonly for answering the door. Great job everyone on all your parts. This mixed together so well. And the party sketches built around the music just adds to the awesomeness of the entire piece. All the musical bits are so well performed by everyone! It's things like this that makes FAWM worthwhile. If anyone sees Lord @sapient, tell him his time machine showed up in Winnipeg last night around 8 pm local time. ๐ See You In The Shadowsโฆ
This is fantastic! great work cobbling this together. I'm glad this was recorded I have no recollection of this gathering ๐ Thought it just a dream ๐คฃ
Such a brilliant execution! You have my eternal admiration! ๐ (By the way, this was the first party I attended since March last year.)
Absolutely fantastic! @dragondreams what a masterpiece of production. I can feel the blood, sweat and tears in putting all of this together. All of the chitchat made this so so interesting. And that whatever it was sounded so cool. A definite Grammy, Tony, Brit, Oscar, FIFA World Cup, Brit and Nobel Peace Prize all in one. Well done everyone.
This was a fun listen, very like a radio drama, and I'm sure this took a long time to put it all together. Well done!
I am absolutely loving hearing all of your voices!!! Best party ever! Even if Iโm a silent little fly on the wall. Actually I slipped in silently and curled up in DDs guitar case ( thanks for sharing, Boo and PeeWee) and missed the whole thing. So glad it was all documented for posterity, and me โฃ๏ธ
Bravo!!!!! Greatly enjoyed listening and going to listen once again. Thanks a lot for this!
Omg fabulous. Dragondreams? Worth every minute spent.. It almost feels like Iโm there with you.. Words canโt describe.. Love the English accents of course. This is the best
Omg what a party!! This is amazing. Youโre all brilliant. Especially you DD, thank you for toiling to put it all together. Iโve got the biggest smile under my mask!! ๐
I told my daughter you were throwing a party again and the first thing she said was, "Didn't he say last time that he's NEVER doing that again?" I'm so very glad you don't listen to your past self. This was great fun! I'm glad Geoffrey and I had our moment together. He really is a talent DD. I need to up my workouts if I'm going to keep up with him though. The layer upon layer was awesome! Bravo to those that did more dialog! I enjoyed spending time at the castle with you all!
!
If there wasn't a global health crisis that prevents close personal contact I would hug each and every one of you marvellous people. This is FAWM at its madly creative best. We are collectively brilliant. Yay us!!! And yay @dragondreams and his poor PC. Ya done good there fella ๐
This is the only time anyone on FAWM will hear me sing ๐
Well guys that was simply wonderful - I still have tears in my eyes !!!
OH MY GOODNESS GRACIOUS! This is - - - I have no WORDS! I love it!!! Thank you, thank you so much for cobbling it so brilliantly together! I've never been to a better party in my life! โค๏ธ Now go and have a good and well-reserved rest! I'll see to the scorch marks being painted over and will make sure that the gargoyles (and the sheep) won't disturb you. ๐
Thirty-six-and-a-half minutes of sheer joy. I bloody love you lot. You know that, right?
This is freakinโ AWESOME!!! Thank you, thank you for putting this together, Paul! ๐
Oh Boy - that's like a full blown radio play! I can not thank you enough for doing this. And now: back to listen to this!
I am listening and this is AMAZING!
An honour to be a small part of this glorious adventure. ๐ This is basically a FAWM podcast itself.
Dude! 36 minutes-- dozens of collaborators. That's like 2 FAWMS all by itself. Thank you.
โค๏ธ๐๐ค
Woohoo!!! Listening now ๐
Ah dear, I regret that I was sidetracked and couldn't get here in time. But perhaps I can cling to the claim of being your only invitee who couldn't come because he was involved in a shipwreck... Perhaps next time. Okay: Don't worry about the unscripted, you just can't do that because then you wouldn't end up with lines like "didja know there's a leprechaun in the kitchen". Chaos is what makes the universe go around. Brilliant bit of production to keep this rolling BTW. @metalfoot has it right: this is actually a podcast. I'm going to have to save this and listen to the whole lot at leisure. Loved the tuning up session. And the phone call sequences are gorgeous! And hey! there's music! I'll Be Back. Actually I'm still here because this is a BIG download! Can my HDD cope? Ah yes it did. Relief.
So much work for you @dragondreams but soo much fun to listen to, and I'm sure so much fun for all who participated. FAWM spirit at its best. I felt like I was there even though I wasn't. A million thanks for this everyone, but especially @dragondreams.
Wow, this is huge! Hats off to everyone involved in this!
well done all and kudos for the stitching! wonderful inviting atmosphere.. so homey and I dig that moat! brought me back to a time when I would listen to after-midnight radio shows under the covers... you've got wonderful presenters on top of all the wonderful performers. thx for the trip, erm, party!
Utter fawmishness! Fabulous and funny. Sincere and succinct. Plaudits for playfulness!
