(Will try to record this one tonight.)
In two of the companies I worked for, "redefines expectations" is the highest rating you can get during a performance review. I always thought it was funny how the rating could mean either that you're really good or really bad.
So I decided to write this song, about a guy who's... extreme. Is he an amazing co-worker? Or terrible?
[Intro] I had a co-worker Whose name was John Passions And working with them Redefined my expectations [Verse] He taught me so much He made me work harder Every time I saw his work I would feel a bit smarter [Chorus] I tell you, I tell you Every time that something was wrong The first thing that I'd do Was go and talk to John [Verse] Everyone knew who he was He quickly made himself a name Once he joined us Our team was never the same [Chorus] I tell you, I tell you Every time that something was wrong The first thing that I'd do Was go and talk to John [Verse] One day, John left our company Many sighs were heard that day I didn't say a word 'Cause I didn't know what to say [Chorus] I tell you, I tell you Every time something was wrong The first thing that I'd do Was go talk to John [Verse] One day, John left our company Many sighs were heard that day I didn't say a word 'Cause I didn't know what to say [Outro] The truth is... I could never never never never Never say enough Enough good things about John Bye, John.

Great story -- there are indeed two sides to many, many things. You've changed my life -- by being so awful that I feel good about myself again. Thanks! You're on my watchlist, so there's an above-average chance I'll get back to hear the music.
Clever lyrics. I like your guitar playing and mix.
Ha, nicely ambiguous; I like the humor. I'm curious how you'll interpret this musically.
