This song is my participation on the Casiocore challenge. All sounds come from my Casio SK-1.
The song is for my dog, Minhoca.
Day and night I wait for you Counting the tiles Looking for a clue I wait for you Until it’s dark That is true I look for you in the park Cause I’ll be here for you Every day And I’ll be waiting for you Until you stay I crawl into my bed There’s your picture on the wall Tomorrow I’ll be better Today I’ll fall Why do you leave Where do you go? Where can I find you When you’re past my door? Cause I’ll be here for you Every day And I’ll be waiting for you Until you stay And until that day comes I’ll be waiting for you Until the night we’re together I’ll be here for you I’ll be here

There's something so satisfying about the old school casiotone sound. It might be cool to add some reverb and roll off some of the high end of the vocals and go for a full Casiotone For The Painfully Alone vibe.
Oh damn. I have an SK-1. I need to do some casiocore. Dang, those rhythms are fantastic. This sounds like reaching out to someone you don't know yet. Not a stalker... but looking for connection. Or trying to befriend a stray cat maybe.
an intimate technobrega, sounds great
I recognized that beat right off the hop - including the rhythm fill. Nicely done. The organ sound is still one of my favourites on the SK-1. This brings back memories of playing around with it when I was much younger - which fits well with the theme of your lyrics. Great song! See You In The Shadows…
Ah, dog songs! 🐶 For some reason now that I think about it, the #casiocore genre I think suits itself to pet dedications. Very cool, and makes me want to get a casio keyboard for next FAWM... PS: You could also tag this #onesynth, no? 😀
That was fun. Oh the times I used that percussion when I was trying to master keyboards (never did).
Nice retro sound! Fits the living-only-in-one's-memories very well! For my taste, there could be a second instrument at the end to open that sound up a bit and contrast with it, but that wouldn't be cssiocore any longer, right? 😉
