I started writing this song last Sunday morning, sitting on a couch in a beautiful place next to my girlfriend. The melody came naturally, evolving during the week, and today I decided to record it.
For the song I used a single acoustic guitar, recorded on 3 tracks โ center, left and right. At some point I considered adding lyrics, but I think it stands out by itself. The first part of the melody reminds me of a Bach study for guitar that I learned many years ago.

This is really beautiful! Love the way the three guitar parts wrap around each other and intertwine. I think you were right to leave this lyric-less. Such a nice tune.
Loving the stereo here, it's so lush with just three tracks. I'm more glad that you told me what to listen for than I am sad that I know how the magic was made. That pause at 2:20 is perfectly placed. When you've got the lower and higher register parts at 2:42 it really feels super full. My favorite of yours so far this year.
The timing on this to play in perfect sync is bananas ๐ This sounds great in my headphones. The mixing and playing are both on point !
A love song that is also spiritual - and certainly doesn't need words to convey that. Fascinating interplay - so nice in headphones. Organic yet ethereal. I dig it!
3 tracks, in 3/4 time. ๐ This is dope. Reminds me of Lindsey Buckingham, who I hold in very high esteem. Love that change at 1:20.
lovely piece of music.
This is so lovely and calming! I love the clashy notes thrown in there. This takes you on a journey without needing vocals, for sure.
Oh wow beautiful! LOVE that change!! I could listen to this all day. This works perfectly. Well done!
Love the wide panning on this. It makes it even more magical when all three voices come together an play in unison. I think it was a good choice to go without vocals, the melody in this is more than strong enough to stand on it's own.
This truly sounds like something played or felt at a sunday morning at home with the ones you love. It's majestically simple and lovely, brings a warmth to the heart.
Beautiful! Meditative and relaxing. I was kinda sad when it ended cause I could listen for much longer.
This could be the part of the movie at the end where they show on the screen what happened to the characters after the story ends. Really nice track.
This music was relaxing to be with and spend time in. The way it was produced gave it depth and complexity. Simply superb.
The panning of the guitars was a great idea here. It adds such a cool interplay and makes it seem like there are multiple folks playing the guitar. Beautiful melodies. Sometimes less is more and in this case that is 100% true.
very well-executed and mixed. it has a great sound, like a cathedral. pretty and relaxing.
Really nice guitar track. It progresses very well and has a good sound.
sweet sound. i love the still pace too. very relaxing listen. lovely.
Yes, that works nicely as it is.
It does sound a bit baroque, beautiful guitar tone. Lovely clean playing. Great for sitting with your sweetie!
Nice tune! I like how it moves from pure diatonic sweetness into the edges of dissonance and then back again.
I really enjoy the sound of this. It definitely has a romantic touch to it and I can already imagine seeing the two of you sitting underneath a tree, or something like that. It's so soothing as well.
Very nice instrumental. All three parts fit together so well. It has that classical influence feel to it, but you have branched out to make a folk dance melody. Well done. I really enjoyed my listen.
This is really lovely! Such a soothing composition. Nicely done!
Gorgeous composition. Really lovely. Enjoyed it a lot!
Wow! First tune I've heard from you. I have a CD of Bach lute music and I can hear that influence, but also some of the great Spanish guitar composers. My CDs are back in the states so I can't be more specific but my point is that I think this is first class. I look forward to listening again and to more. Well done!
This is a beautiful piece of acoustic guitar. It just flows and ebbs with the guitars coming in and out. Very warm and soothing to listen to.
I sincerely appreciate this piece. I often thought about recording guitar in this fashion. But you, my friend, have inspired me to go beyond just thinking about it. Wonderful arrange to you have here.
so beatiful, and sounds like a movie theme!
So pretty.. Lucky Kim
Oh how warm and lovely. Beautiful piece of music.
This is so beautiful, Beto. Lovely melody, gorgeous harmony, and wonderful playing, that is mixed perfectly by the way!
Beto, this is absolutely amazing. I heard you working on this in Nicasio, but I never heard the final piece. It is beyond lovely. What a sweet song to Kim.
Absolutely gorgeous. It feels so good in my ears. Cheers to Kim!
