How to back up your files to an untrusted device

I've been consolidating my files lately, and my goal is to have them in 3 places: my laptop, a local backup on a Raspberry Pi and a cloud backup. With duplicity I can do my local backup to a Rapsberry Pi that is exposed to the internet, since the files are encrypted before being copied to it.
